I’m a Celeb teases MAJOR country music singer for new season

I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! has teased a major celebrity for the upcoming season.

Channel 10 revealed that a country singer will touch down in the jungle when the show returns to the small screen on January 3.

While they didn’t reveal any specific details, like if the mystery singer is male or female, the network did share that they’ve been awarded multiple Golden Guitars.

‘Don’t get us wrong, being awarded prestigious Golden Guitars during one’s career is quite the achievement, but in the so called jungle, it’s the golden stars that are really worth their weight in crocodile tail,’ 10 teased.

The country crooner isn’t the only big star that’s been announced for the new season.

An Olympic star will also be going for gold on I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! 

The opening of the I’m a Celeb teaser shows a swimmer preparing themselves at the starting block as the words ‘Olympic Legend’ are digitally added to a pool in front.

‘An Olympic legend is diving into the Aussie jungle,’ a voiceover says as a montage of clips plays out with the swimmer performing breaststroke and freestyle. 

‘She’s a Triple Gold Medallist Julia,’ announces Chris Brown, as the camera cuts to him and his I’m a Celeb co-host, Julia Morris. 

Julia responds to the news by listing some of the creatures in the bush the unidentified professional athlete might be up against: ‘Snakes, bugs and spiders’. 

‘Find out who’s going to the Aussie jungle, Jan 3,’ the voiceover adds as the trailer concludes.

Who is it? An ‘Olympic Legend’ is also set to star on the new season of I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!

The accompanying caption for the upcoming season of I’m a Celeb sheds a little more light on the Olympic star, stating: ‘Diving headfirst into the adventure of a lifetime is an Olympic Swimmer and downright legend.’

‘The jungle may be a long way from the pool, but it still has the unique ability to send even the toughest of athletes off the deep end.’

‘As a triple gold medalist, this celebrity isn’t afraid of hard work, but will a triple threat of snakes, bugs and spiders cause her to sink or swim?’ it concludes.
